Good-bye Routine

Saying good-bye or goodnight has evolved into an elaborate, multi-step ritual with our daughter:

1. Hug
2. Kiss (little kiss on lips or big kiss on cheek)
3. Rub noses
4. High five
5. Low two
6. Fist bump
7. Uga booga hug
8. Side-to-side wave

The routine serves as a transition point, and represents her way of holding onto us a little longer. Elements have been added over time, but so far the choreagraphy has not allowed for any missed steps.
