Pictures Per Year

Picasa proves that Laura is in 166% more pictures per year than her baby brother.  2nd children really are photographed less.

Child 1 – Laura

  • 4 years, 10 months old
  • 3,704 pictures
  • 766.34 pictures per year

Child 2 – Jason

  • 8 months old
  • 307 pictures
  • 460.50 pictures per year

    Perhaps a more valid comparison would be to see how many pics of Laura were taken during her first 8 months compared with Jason’s 307. As a child becomes more mobile and independent, the opportunities for memorable photos increases dramatically. Of the 3,704 Laura pictures, how many also had Jason in the frame, or does the count allow for that?

      I did a quick check – Laura has 873 picture files for her first 8 months of life. The count is of faces, so a picture with both Laura and Jason in it would be counted for both.
