Celery Breath

Who loves celery?  Jason, now 8 months old, is a huge fan.  He likes to suck and gnaw on celery stalks.  With only two teeth, he manages to break off small chunks while avoiding the strings.

Sidebar: when I checked the uncommon food guidelines from Momtastic’s Wholesome Baby Food, the recommendation was to add cooked celery cut in small pieces to other baby food dishes. Celery can be a choking hazard for babies, so proceed with caution and close monitoring.

What is the most unusual thing your baby liked to nosh?

This stumped me for a while, but then it came to me: my clerical collar. Only unusual because most households probably don’t have one lying around. Now that she’s older, she likes to wear it instead. The most unusual thing she’s swallowed? That would be dice (one die, in fact).
