No Eating

Laura sorted out all the extra dark chocolate truffles from the big container of Lindt’s Lindor Truffles Jung’s parents brought at Christmas. She placed them in a bag and wrote, “NO EATING” across the top.

Her message is directed to me. I snarf Lindor Truffles whenever they are in the house. The milk chocolate truffles are my favorite. However, all the truffles are luscious and will be consumed. As the main supply diminishes, I look at her bag and wonder, “Would she notice if I took just one?”

Probably. If my dogs can count treats, a small child can too!!

  2. I remember doing stuff like that! And my parents never listened. It was a perpetual game. You have to play your part! Eat “one” meaning as many as you can without her noticing. Happy New Year!

Knowing Laura, she will notice right away and than give me much grief for a very long time. My snitching strategy as a kid was to take teeny amounts, a grape here, a little chocolate there. With so many kids, my mom had a hard time ID’ing the correct perp. 🙂

This made me laugh! My house was like this growing up. We had to hide things to keep them away from each other. My dad went through the pantry once and found all this stuff with our names all over it in sharpie declaring who it belong to. It made us look like crazy people!

Who gets to eat the dark chocolates?
