Biscuit at Bedtime

Laura reminded me to pack Biscuit for my overnight trip to Boston. We have two copies, a gift from the time Jung was working in CT while the kids and I were still in NJ waiting for our house to sell. Over Skype last night, we read a story together. She did the “woof woof” part and I filled in the rest.

This is my 2nd week doing some consulting work, a new type of gig for me. I travel to Boston 1-2 days per week and work from home the rest of the time. The work is interesting and has allowed me to reconnect with some people I worked with a couple years ago. So far, so good.

I shared your Skype story time with Nancy Benich, our dear friend and a reading recovery teacher. She loved the idea of having two copies of the same book to read together. Bedtime stories are so very important. Glad to see a really effective way to distance-read together. Momma G
