Peace, You Are My Sunshine

Laura prepares for her Very Important Job with a full watering can. She stands between flowers and certain wilting.

Wait! Jason wants to help, too.

Neighbor Erica’s flowers drink up the water. No wilting for these blooms.

Jason confirms that the recycling bin is correctly positioned.

Work done, Laura and Jason seek further adventures and brighten days everywhere.

Elephants & Rutabagas has been on an unexpected summer hiatus. My computer died and my work life became busy, throwing my normal routines out of whack. I’ve missed writing posts and reading your blogs. I’d like to acknowledge two nominations I received for awards from two fellow mom bloggers:

Nurturing and Nature – Beautiful Blogger Award
Insanity of Motherhood – One Lovely Blog Award

Thank you for reading my blog and for sharing your stories.  I never expected the kinship that blogging brings.
